TATTOED LADY

Series of studies inspired by vintage posters, old school tattoos and photos of the first tattooed women, which began to appear in the late 19th century.

These women used tattooing as a form of artistic self-expression and freedom over their bodies and often over their lives, using tattoos as a way to earn money.
